You may think we play all day but we are learning in our own special way!
Morning Sessions 9 am - 12 noon, Afternoon Sessions 12.30 - 3.30 pm
30 hour sessions run from 9 am - 3 pm (or 3.30pm at a charge of £2.50 per day to cover half hour lunch time).
If you only qualify for 15 hours of funding, extra sessions are available at a cost of £5 per hour until 3.30 pm.
All sessions operate term time only, alongside the school calendar.
Children can join our nursery once they have had their 3rd Birthday.
All children are eligible for 15 hours of government funding in childcare from the term after they turn 3 years old. We now take new admissions throughout the year - September, January and April. Please contact the school office for more information and a registration form. If you would like to visit the Nursery or would like to find out more information, please contact the school office on 01202 673966 who will be happy to make you an appointment.
Our nursery is a balance of adult led learning opportunities and children's choices of play activities.
Our Nursery offers a purpose built carpeted classroom, airy open plan facilities and outdoor play area.
Learning is planned for both the indoor and the outdoor areas. The children are encouraged to work collaboratively at times and independently at other times. One of the most important things children learn at Nursery is to play and share with other children. They begin to learn the social skills ready for school.
What will my child need to wear?
Although school uniform is optional, many of the children are very proud to wear the Old Town school jumper. The children wear aprons for 'messy play' but can still get their clothes dirty from time to time, so no best clothes please!
If you wish to apply for a place at Old Town Nursery, you can either pick up a registration form from the school office or complete the registration form within this section and email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
